    What’s it all about?

    Creole [adjective. ˈkrē-ˌōl]
    I'm a Creole girl, which is a mixture of Black, Italian, French, Choctaw Indian and Spanish.

    Fleur de lys [noun. flur-dl-ee]
    a stylized lily (in French, fleur means flower, and lis means lily) or iris that is used as a decorative design or symbol. The fleur de lys is also the symbol of New Orleans.

    Praline [noun. ˈprä-ˌlēn, ˈprā-, ˈprȯ-]
    a delicious Creole candy made of sugar, butter and pecans.
